We have been involved with this amazing breed going on almost 19 years. We strive for temperament & health! We got our first Corso in 2001 and started importing some amazing dogs from Italy, Germany, Czech Republic & Russia starting in 2003.
We have a background in veterinary medicine and animal behavior.
All our pups are temperament tested starting when they are up and walking and continue until they are all placed in new homes.
We were known under a different kennel name for 12 years, unfortunately due to a horrific divorce and the protection of my oldest kids we gave up our former kennel name and can no longer use it . Many of our foundation dogs are legally registered under our former kennel name and is OK to use on our page as they are registered that way to carry on our lines from of our former foundation dogs.
Pedigree is a very important focus for us. Our foundation dogs go back to some phenomenal original Cane Corsos from around the world! These bloodlines we have strived to carry on to produce amazing health, temperament & structure. We are very focused, before any breeding we like to go back fully through the entire pedigrees to make sure the combination will have a great outcome. We are able to go back 16+ generations and know each Corso in that pedigree.
We have seen many amazing pedigree combinations over the years that have produced some amazing consistency in structure, athletic ability, health and temperament!
In our experience with this amazing breed they are definitely a working breed that needs good obedience and a confident leader. They are wonderful with children and can adapt to any living situation with proper training and leadership! Our foundation dogs were all involved in protection training, advanced obedience, therapy work and scent work. Most had their SCHII, CGC, Therapy certified and search & rescue certified. With our 3rd to 5th generation Corsos we are continuing these training techniques as they thrive in any training!
We have found through these training techniques it is the best way to bond with your Cane Corso and become a great team!
Providing wonderful families with amazing Cane Corso puppies! We from time to time will have young adults available and rescue Corsos. We do have a few of our males that are available to stud to the right female with stud contract.
All of our pups come with a 2 year 2 month health guarantee, temperament tested, adoption contract, tails docked, dew claws removed, 2 vaccinations, worming every 2 weeks starting at 2 weeks old, vet checked, microchip, spay/neuter contract for companion/pet pups, 8 generation pedigree, health record with individual growth chart for each pup, welcome pack & lifetime support! Once you adopt a Rising Phoenix Cane Corso you are part of our growing family!!!

We have some amazing reviews and wonderful owners going back 17 years! Please check out some of our wonderful reviews on our FB page! Many of our owners over the years have become such wonderful friends. We strive at becoming part of all our new owners family!
At times we might have a young adult available from one of our breedings. Several times each year we rescue Corsos from shelters, animal control or if a family is need of placing their beloved baby due to circumstances out of their control. We post these on our social media pages as we take them in and temperament test them to provide the best information possible for a new forever owner!
We love to be social with our pack! We try twice a year to have an open house so many wonderful families can come out and meet our dogs up close and answer any questions they may have!
We are working with a few great people to start a training team so those that want to participate can come out for some great training and bonding time! Hoping to be able to get this going very soon as we want to be able to provide our new owners with some great obedience training, start prey drive and scent work activities!
We also try to go to many social events to show off our dogs and help educate the public on this amazing breed! Follow our FB page as we post upcoming events as they come up in the Valley!
We are available to answer any questions or concerns with this breed. After almost 19 years we have seen, dealt with or have heard of just about any situation with this breed.
The top questions when looking at the Cane Corso:
1. Are they are protective breed?
The answer is yes, they are a true working breed. Sure at times you will get the couch potatoes that are just chilled out all the time. This breed is bullheaded and needs to have a leader. They thrive knowing their place and having a job.
2. Are they good with families & children?
I started with this breed when my 2 oldest now in their mid 20's one was kindergarten & one in pull ups still. With proper guidance and training they are wonderful with the family dynamic. My first female I trusted to watch my kids over other people. When socialized properly (that doesn't mean going to dog parks) they will thrive with children!
3. Are they good with other animals?
Yes, if introduced correctly they are great with other dog breeds, cats, horses, birds, cattle and any other animals. We take several of our pack over to visit grandma all intact and they play great with their Scottie dog and neighbors dachshunds. We also have 3 foster cats that have now become part of the pack, not all were kittens when brought in but the pack knows they belong here and love on them constantly!
If you have have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask anytime!
